New article: Co-design of antipsychotic medicines information resources – making PROGRESS in shared decision-making
The project aimed to enhance shared decision‑making for people offered antipsychotic medicines by co‑designing clear, accessible video resources. Using the Double Diamond Design Thinking Model, the team explored stakeholder needs—including clinicians and experts‑by‑experience—and evaluated existing patient information for understandability and actionability. Significant gaps in readability and usefulness were identified across current leaflets and online materials. These insights informed the development of prototype video resources, which were iteratively refined with stakeholder input. Six final antipsychotic medicines information videos were produced and made freely available, addressing an unmet need and supporting a more human‑centred approach to shared decision‑making.
