Dr. Faye Carrington

Faye is a Clinical Research Registrar working at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacology before obtaining a degree in medicine. She has worked in psychiatric services across Dublin and Wicklow. Currently, she is pursuing a Medical Doctorate at University College Dublin focusing on the physical health of those experiencing first episode psychosis.

Her work specifically investigates blood markers of inflammation in this population, contributing to a growing body of evidence in this area and advancing understanding of their potential role in mental and physical health outcomes in those with psychotic illness.
