Dr Miriam Boland

Miriam works as a Senior Pharmacist at St John of God Hospital. Miriam previously worked as an Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, and has years of community pharmacy experience.

Miriam obtained her BSc. (Pharm.) and Masters (MPharm) degrees in the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin. Miriam recently completed her PhD in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Dr Cathal Cadogan and Professor Agnes Higgins. Her PhD focused on understanding and supporting the withdrawal process from psychiatric medicines for people experiencing mental health problems.
