Dr Tara Burke

Tara is a clinical researcher and Higher Specialist Trainee in General Adult and Liaison Psychiatry. Since graduating in Medicine from the University of Galway in 2016, she has worked across diverse mental health services in both Dublin and Melbourne. Tara’s research focuses on how the interplay between age, sex and hormones influences the course of psychosis. She intends to complete a Medical Doctorate with University College Dublin, investigating menopause as a critical period for women with schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
