Professor Kelly Allott

Prof. Kelly Allott is a Professorial Fellow and Clinical Neuropsychologist at Orygen and the Centre for Youth Mental Health, The University of Melbourne. She specialises in understanding and treating cognitive difficulties in youth mental health, focusing on conditions such as psychosis, depression, and bipolar disorder. Prof. Allott leads a research team dedicated to exploring the role of cognition in youth mental illness and developing innovative interventions to support cognitive and functional recovery.

She has published >170 peer reviewed articles and numerous book chapters on these topics and her work has been translated into clinical resources, clinical practice guidelines and NDIS evidence supporting cognitive remediation for people with psychosocial disability. Her work has been recognised with several prestigious fellowships, including the NHMRC Career Development Fellowship and the Faculty Dame Kate Campbell Fellowship.
